Our First Marbling

Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of a Dozen Favourites is a title that brought us many firsts. Chiefly among them was our venture into letterpress with the purchase of Heidi. We also incorporated marbling into our own production. It was a great challenge, but the end result was oh, so worth it!

The video below shows all the nuances of the intricate process that has to be completed countless times to create endpapers for all the numbered and lettered editions. But that’s what makes it so special and why this technique brings uniqueness to each book we produce.
