What a work of art. I cannot call it a book, because in today’s world, that word does not do it justice.
Just received the book and I am impressed with the quality and dedication to craftmanship. This book will be something to be passed down in the family.

Lovely book! Catch-22 is one of my favorite all-time books, and I'm so happy to have a fine press version of it now. I love Amaranthine's essential editions. They're both simple and elegant.
It is a nice, sturdy book and conceptually interesting with great illustrations. I love the font used on the cover and slipcase, but in chapter headings the same font is less successful. There area a couple of blocks of pages with a slight wave or kink in the paper. It is an ambitious production and I look forward to reading the book.
I have been collecting books for 20 years, and have developed an affinity for small press books. This was my first purchase from Amaranthine and I was super chuffed! Well I came home the other day to see this parcel on the my doorstep. Sure I was excited, you get used to the long wait for fine press books but still, it doesn't stop you checking your emails every hour. Of every day.
So, we carefully removed said item from the packaging and spent a few hours meticulously gazing and stroking it. Finally, it's in our hands!
And what a beauty is is. One thing I can 100% guarantee - that is the Amaranteam never fail to deliver. This isn't my first experience, and previous books have all knocked it out the park - well this one is no different. If you are deliberating on whether the cost is worth it, whether you get value for money or if you'll be putting a thing of beauty on your shelf then don't hesitate any longer.

As a lifelong Sherlock Holmes fan and book aficionado, I cannot say enough good things about what Amaranthine Books is doing, both generally and with this fantastic and gorgeously presented collection of Holmes short stories. I can’t wait to receive my copy of Hound of the Baskervilles so I can place it alongside this beautiful volume with my many other editions of these classic stories. You need to have this hefty tome in your hands to fully appreciate just how gorgeous it is! Marko and his team have again worked wonders with the design, and the letterpress illustrations are outstanding.

It’s absolutely massive! The materials are top notch, tying in the book with the production of the book (picture's, boards, etc…) It doesn’t get any better than this! The pictures are even letterpress. The vision and final product are outstanding!
Amaranthine Books batted 1000 again. This book is amazing as with all of their products. The cotton paper is...over the top luxurious for a book and just feels right. I can't be more happy with the Mission Edition.
Beautiful production including the wood on the cover (Mission Edition) The letterpress is great and I really love the illustrations, I wasn't sure that I would. Beware though, this is one massive book!
